how to speak preschooler

the big interest at our house these days is phonics.
if you stop over, you might think our kids are speaking in code.

here's what our conversations sound like ALL DAY LONG...

~conversations with a 5 yr old

mom, i'd like some ju, ju, ju...it is something you drink in a glass.
ok, here's your juice.

mom, have you seen my new b, b, b? it has a princess on the cover.
no, i don't know where your book is.

(this 5 yr old is a big fan of clues.)

~conversations with a 3 yr old

hey mom - ta, ta, ta is for egg!

g, g, g - banana!

(don't worry, this 3 yr old has 2 more years of preschool left!)
