instant kid fun

about time!

pretty much since ryan has been able to walk,
he's been nothing but trouble at the soccer fields...

i can't really blame the kid,
he's desperately wanted to play.

but it's made for some long, long nights at the field.

until now...

seriously, could he look anymore excited??

well, i could write something about how he's growing up so fast,
but really he's still my same little ryan...

spring break

spring break has come & gone...

we had lots of fun -
tim took the week off and we just hung out as a family

as much fun as it would have been
to do a real beach vacation,
some of us still had school {bummer!}

but we did found a way
to sneak in some time on the sand...

as you can see,
ludington offers some great ways
to tire out small children :)

it also offers countelss photo ops,
for those in love with the camera...

the perfect way to end a day of playing on the sand?

gotta be house of flavors ice cream!!!

and what vacation is complete without
a little water slide action??

and it's even better when 3 out of 4 kids can do it alone!

even though we didn't go away for spring break,
we got to soak up some sun & play in the sand :)

p.s. - summer please come soon,
we want more vacation time!!!!

last night was the district's community dinner

from my limited understanding
of what goes on at the dinner -
basically, they showcase student accomplishments
bands, choirs & art work, etc...
